MAGOS

What is MAGOS?

MagosMaster is an AI companion robot developed by the Shenzhen Institute of Science and Technology, led by Professor Li Zexiang , specifically designed for seniors with cognitive impairment. It helps young people and seniors with SEN improve their cognitive and social skills through exercise therapy, dance therapy, storytelling therapy, and magic performances. MagosMaster supports conversations in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin, and uses brain games and STEM teaching to stimulate learning logic and Chinese culture. Combining intelligent companionship and entertainment features, it provides a comprehensive digital learning experience suitable for all ages and therapists.

Who is MAGOS for?

Primary Audience:

Children aged 8 and above, especially from middle-class families, who will benefit from learning programming and engaging in magic performance to enhance creativity and logic skills.

Secondary Audience:

Elderly individuals, including those with limited digital skills, seeking an interactive way to engage with technology and improve social interaction.

SEN groups, visually impaired individuals, and underprivileged students, who can benefit from the robot’s therapeutic and educational features.

The goal is to use MagosMaster to provide a fun, interactive learning environment that integrates magic and technology, fostering digital literacy, problem-solving skills, and enhancing self-confidence across different age groups and abilities
