YAI Classes and Competition

We offer classes on Robotics and AI, where students can learn the fundamentals of how robots work, while gaining hands-on experience by assembling the robots themselves.

Each student are given a box filled with robot parts, electronic elements, and instructions on how to assemble them.

Meet the Robots!

The robots are constructed from LEGO pieces and UCMAKE hardware, enabling Scratch programs to control their behavior.

The robot is equipped with a robotic arm that is capable of lifting one small object. The robot’s movements and arm are controlled via a Bluetooth controller.

The robots have a pre-programmed Automatic Sequence that the students are taught. It goes around a pre-set field map, picking up objects and dropping them, as well as performing other movements.

The map has four dedicated “season” areas: Summer, Spring, Autumn, and Winter. The robot will pick up leaves and put them in a recycling plant for Autumn, clap thrice on a stage, pick up watering cans and put them in plants for Spring, pick up solar panels for Summer, and pick up wind turbines during Winter.
